Our Seniors Deserve the Very Best

This job took meticulous planning. The units were delivered, craned up and set off to the side. We then demolished the old units and our construction partners replaced the sheet metal drain pans. With the new pans were in place, we got to work on installing the new Carriers along with all new plenums.

Problems and Solutions: It was crucial that we protected the surrounding roofing material which meant sending extra muscle to get the job done neatly and in a timely manner. The existing smoke alarm detectors had not been wired in, but despite the unforeseen setback, we found a way to collaborate with the on-site team to get the new ones commissioned correctly.

What We Learnt: Often the most important lessons are the simple ones. The over 100 degree temperatures on the roof can deflate productivity and send tempers flying. So we initiated early start times and sent over hearty cold smoothies to help them get through the day.
